Beautifully updated lakeview home built in 1940 in the Streamline Moderne Style. There are a significant number of these homes in the area. Many were the work of William Kesling, however, the last one he built in Silver Lake was in about 1937. This beauty has many of the typical and appealing characteristics of the style: curved pane glass windows with matching contours and long rows of uninterrupted horizontal lines accentuating the windows and balcony railings. It offers a romantic touch to what is often perceived as a ‘cold barreness’ in the International Style that was prevelant in the modernist architecture of the times.
